Notions: yarn needle, 4 stitch markers, 2 pieces of waste yarn, 5 white buttons 5-6 mm, sewing need and thread to attach the buttons.
Needles: US # 1 (2.25mm) circular, OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE, crochet hook 2,25mm
Gauge for stockinette stitch: 28 st x 40 rows = 4" x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm)

Row 39/ round 1: knit across, join into round and continue to work in rounds. Place a marker to mark the beginning of the round, slip marker while working.
Round 2: *k1, kfr&b rep from * across the rounds =124 sts
Round 3: knit across
Repeat round 3 thirty five times.
Work the next 6 rounds in lace pattern B:
Round 39: *yo, k2, k2tog - repeat from * 31 times = 124 sts
Rounds 40, 42 and 44 - knit across
Round 41: *k2 tog, yo - repeat from * 62 times.
Round 43: k1, * k2tog, yo, k2 - repeat from * 30 times, k2tog, yo, k1.
Work the next 6 rounds in garter stitch: purl rounds 45, 47, 49, knit rounds 46, 48 and 50.

Button Band:

Finishing:
