Free Doll Jacket Knitting Pattern
Fun fur yarn is great for doll clothes! Because of the smaller scale, it gives doll clothes a puffy, fluffy, fun look that looks more like ostrich feathers than fur. I combined this effect with a short jacket style to create a 70s Disco / Glam Rock look. You can, of course, also knit this jacket without using Fun Fur, for a completely different look.
The jacket is knitted in one piece from the top down, and features raglan sleeves. The button band is finished with crochet, but you can also knit it.

Row 2 (WS): purl
Stockinette in rounds:
All rounds - knit
1x1 Rib in rows, multiple of 2 plus 1:
Row 1: *k1, p1 - repeat from * to last st., k1.
Row 2: *p1, k1 - repeat from * to last st, p1.
1x1 Rib in rounds multiple of 2:
All rounds * k1, p1 - repeat from * to the end of the round.
The selvedge/edge stitches are worked as follows: knit the first st and purl the last one.
Raglan increases: place marker before each raglan stitch, slip markers while working. There are 4 raglan stitches and 4 markers. Increase 1 stitch (m1) before and 1 stitch (m1) after each marked raglan stitch in every RS row. Thus the number of stitches in every RS row will increase by 8.
Jacket
The jacket is worked top down in one piece, in stockinette stitch, with increases on the raglan lines. Sleeves are worked in the round on double pointed needles. The button band is crocheted. Work 4 rows in main yarn (Nature Spun), then 2 rows in fancy yarn (fun fur).
