Free Necklace Crochet Pattern
Materials: Lamé by Lion Brand (affiliate link) fingering weight yarn (65% Rayon, 35% Polyester) 75 yards (69 meters) / 19 gr - 1 cone
Assorted red and gold beads of different shapes and sizes,
small gold leaves
2 medium size cones,
a tongle clasp
Hook: steel hook 2.0 mm
Directions
Beaded Chain Stitch (bch)
Slide one bead up close to hook, yo after the bead, draw thread through loop on hook.
String beads on yarn. String the beads randomly, however, try to place a golden leaf after every 3-5 beads.
The first necklace chain is 28" long:
Leave 8" tail. *Ch 10, slide 1-3 beads up to hook, yo after beads, draw yarn through loop on hook.
Repeat from * until the chain is about 26" - 26 1/2" long. End with ch 10.
Cut the yarn, leaving 8" tail.
Note: crochet large beads one at a time. Smaller beads can be crocheted up to 3 at a time.
The second necklace chain is 26" long:
Leave 8" tail, ch 10, *slide 1-3 beads up to hook,
yo after beads, draw yarn through loop on hook; ch 5.
Repeat from * until the chain is about 24" - 24 1/2" long. End with ch 10.
Cut the yarn, leaving 8" tail.
Finishing
Place the chains parallel to each other. Tie the tails of the chains on both ends.
Thread the tails through a cone, then through a clasp, then again through the cone.
Make a knot to fasten the yarn.
Repeat with the second end of the necklace.
