How do you connect the motifs while crocheting the last row? Do you have a video showing how to do this?

DK is a double knitting yarn. It is hevier than sport weight yarn and lighter than worsted weight yarn.

In England, Australia etc this is pretty much 8ply. I would do a gauge check. Adjust or leave size of needles as indicated by pattern. Hope this helps.

Must congratulate you for not only a lovely shawl, but the clear directions, photos, illustrations of the pattern in various stages that will certainly help all crocheters. One question....what is DK yarn???

DK yarn is a yarn that is marked as #3 weight. Between a sport yarn and worsted weight
