Free Doll Dress Knitting Pattern

This is a dress for a 14" doll from the Hearts for Hearts Girls series
Materials:
Plymouth Yarn Sockotta fingering weight yarn (45% cotton, 40 % wool, 15% nylon), 414 yd / 379m 100 g color 08 - about 1/4 of a ball
Needles: Circular US #2 (2.75 mm)
Gauge 20 sts = 4" (10cm)
Patterns:
Stockinette stitch in rounds:
all rounds knit
Garter stitch in rounds:
Round 1 - knit
Round 2 - purl
Repeat rounds 1-2
2x2 Ribbing
All rounds: *k2, p2 repeat from * across the round.
Directions:
The dress is worked from top to bottom in rounds without seams.
CO 48 sts, join and continue to work in rounds.
Round 1: knit
Round 2: *k2tog, yo - repeat from * across the round
Rounds 3-4: knit
Divide and place markers on raglan lines:
back 14 sts - raglan 1 st - left sleeve 8 sts - raglan 1 st - front 14 sts - raglan 1 st - right sleeve 8 sts - raglan 1 st
Work 6 rounds, adding yo before and after each raglan stitch in every odd round.
Thus you will make 8 sts of raglan increases in rounds 5, 7, 9. Knit all even rounds (6, 8, and 10). You will have 72 sts.
Round 11: start knitting the back from the raglan st and knit 22 sts of the back, transfer 14 sts of the left sleeve to a piece of yarn, cast on 2 sts with single cast on for the underarm, knit 22 sts of the front, transfer 14 sts of the right sleeve on a piece of yarn, cast on 2 sts with single cast on for underarm.
Rounds 12 and 13 knit
Round 14: *k2, p2 repeat from * across the round (2:2 ribbing)
Rounds 15-19 like round 14
Round 20: *kb&f twice (increase: knit into back then front of the st.), k2 -repeat from * across the round
Rounds 21 - 42: knit
Round 43, 45, 47 and 49: purl
Round 44, 46, 48, and 50: knit
Bind off.
Sleeve:
Transfer 14 sts to the needles, pick up 4 sts over the 2 underarm sts.
Rounds 1,3 and 5: knit,
Rounds 2 and 4: purl
Bind off.
Finishing:
Crochet a chain 10"-12" long. Insert it in the eyelets along the neckline.
