Materials: Dale of Norway Falk Dalegarn sport weight yarn 106m (109 yds)/50g - 4 balls.
Needles: 3 (3.25 mm) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE
Gauge: 20 st = 4" (10 cm)
Pattern:
Brioche Rib:
Cast on even amount of stitches
Rows 1: *1 k, 1 p* repeat from * to *
Row 2: 1 k, yo, sl 1 (slip stitch from left to right needle)
Row 3: 1 k on yo and sl 1 from the prev row (knit the stitch that was slipped in the previous row together with its yarn over), yo, sl1
Row 4: Repeat row 3
Directions:
Cast on 36 sts (including edge stitches).
Knit fisherman's rib pattern. Work until scarf measures 60" (150 cm).
Cast off.
Finishing:
Make fringe.
