I am having a hard time with the gauge, I went clear up to a 2.75 hook and am still getting 13 dc to 2". I am using the #10 crochet thread. Any suggestions?

I do not see anywhere in the pattern where it tells you how to finish off the neck and front edges. Is it finished as the armholes are finished?

I waqs going to make this at this pattern and it does not ake sense to me. One row 8 of the tops it says 79dc. Then under that it says now you have 80 sts. How did you get 80 sts when I only sede 79. Also ont the right front direstions it does not say anything about placing markers. On the direction for the back it says start in the stith with second marker. How can you do that if there aren't any markers? I am not trying to be snotty.
