Since the yarn for this sweater has been discontinued, what is a good substitute?

You can use Silky Merino by Malabrigo Yarn, Silk Blend by Manos del Uruguay, Silky Wool by Elsebeth Lavold.

Me too !!! I love Great Pyrenees !!

Had two. Both have traveled Rainbow Bridge. Wonderful, gentle, smart, and protective dogs. Since I've gotten older, a retired senior, I have small dogs. A small white Maltese and a small white Bichon/Poodle mix. I tell people my Pyrs got shrunk in the wash. :)

Would love to make this top, it is stunning. Is it possible to convert the pattern for straight needles as I don't knit with circulars??I don't mind sewing up so would prefer the conventional front, back, sleeves etc.Can anyone help a fellow knitter out??

I would suggest using a stretch thread with the yarn at the hip area so it will look more professional and have a better fit

Although it has a printable version there is no "print" tab to hit on.

Wonder if this could be made as a cardi?. Looking for something lite to wear to church over sleevless dresses.

This is a gorgeous sweater. I've never knitted from the top down before, but I'm going to give this a try. Thanks for the wonderful patterns. (I've just found your site !)

I'll buy your yarn if you give me your dog!
