For some reason the right and left edges of this pattern are not the same, Right side beginning with a knit row, left side beginning with the pattern and no knit row. Not sure what to make of this. I'm trying it now, and doing the same thing for both edges by adding a knit row to the left side as Row 1, then working it as written. Was this meant to be this way for a reason I am unaware of at the end? I also assume, the left and right edges are knitted into the scarf, where the short end edges are knitted and sewn on separately.
