Hi I love this sweater BUT I've altered the pattern slightly to fit better at the top.starting on the 17th row for backs,decrease one st at armhole edge on rows 17,23 & 29.leaving 4st for the backs. For the front after the 16 rows Dec both ends on rows 17 & 23.then put the middle 4 on a pin. Work L&R 4 st for 6 rows cast off. Sleeves work as pattern until Row 17 dec one st both ends on rows 17,23 &29 work 2 rows cast off. Hope you can try this and if you like it maybe change your pattern.
