Size: M (L, XL)

Materials:
Araucania Elqui DK weight cotton yarn 230 yards (210 meters) /100 gr Color 1104- 4 skeins

Needles: circular #5 (3.75 mm) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE.

Gauge: 20 st x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4" x 4")

Ribbing:
all rounds *k1, p1* repeat to the end

Ribbing in rows:
Row 1: *k1, p1*repeat to the end
Row 2: *p1, k1*repeat to the end

M1 (make 1 increase)
Make a backward loop over the right-hand needle and in the next row purl it as a regular stitch.

Directions:
The sweater is worked from the top to the bottom in rounds without seams. The sweater is knit in ribbing 1x1 with purl rounds in the yoke.

Yoke:

Cast on 100 (110, 120) sts. Join and continue to work ribbing in rounds. Mark the beginning of the round.
Work ribbing for 7 rounds.

For M:
Round 8: *p 2, M 1*, repeat 50 times. There must be 150 sts after this round.
For L:
Round 8: *p 1, M 1*, repeat 2 times, *p 2, M 1*, repeat 54 times to the end of the round. Make 56 sts in all. There must be 166 sts after this round.
For XL:
Round 8: *p 2, M 1*, repeat 60 times. There must be 180 sts after this round.

Work the next 7 rounds (9-15) with ribbing *k1, p1*.

For M:
Round 16: *p 3, M 1*, repeat 50 times. There must be 200 sts after this round.
For L:
Round 16: *p3, M 1*, repeat 54 times. Make 54 sts in all. There must be 220 sts after this round.
For XL:
Round 16: *p 3, M 1*, repeat 60 times. There must be 240 sts after this round.

Work the next 8 rounds (17-24) with ribbing *k1, p1*.

For M:
Round 25: *p 6, M 1*, repeat 32 times. There must be 232 sts after this round.
For L:
Round 25: *p 6, M 1*, repeat 36 times. Make 36 sts in all. There must be 256 sts after this round.
For XL:
Round 25: *p 6, M 1*, repeat 40 times. There must be 280 sts after this round.

Work the next 8 rounds (26-33) with ribbing *k1, p1*.

For M:
Round 34: *p 7, M 1*, repeat 32 times. There must be 264 sts after this round.
For L:
Round 34: p 7, M 1*, repeat 36 times. Make 36 sts in all. There must be 292 sts after this round.
For XL:
Round 34: *p 7, M 1*, repeat 40 times. There must be 320 sts after this round.

Work the next 6 (8, 10) rounds (35-42) with ribbing *k1, p1*.



Divide for sleeves

Divide the sts into the following portions, starting from the marker:
86 (96, 106) sts for the back (leave on needles)
44 (48, 52) sts for the left sleeve (transfer to a thread and tie the ends)
90 (100, 110) sts for the front (transfer to another piece of thread and tie the ends)
44 (48, 52) sts for the right sleeve (transfer to the third piece of thread)

Transfer back stitches to a separate needle and work 8 (10, 12) rows of ribbing back and forth.

Bodice:
Knit row 9 (11, 13) of the back (86 (96, 106) st), cast on 6 sts with the single cast on,  knit 90 (100, 110) sts of the front, cast on 6 sts with the single cast on, join and continue to work the bodice in rounds (188 (208, 228) sts).

Work 86 (90, 96) rounds and cast off.

Sleeves:
Make one sleeve at a time.
Transfer 44 (48, 52) sts from thread to needles. Pick up 22 (24, 26) sts over the underarm sts and along the back part.

Place a marker in the beginning of the round. Make 26(30, 34) rounds in ribbing. Cast-off.
