Materials:Ella Rae (affiliate link) Lace Merino 460 yds/421 m per 100 gr skein - 2 skeins. (A)
Opal Uni Solid 4 ply by Zwerger Garn 465 yds/425 m per 100 gr skein - 1 skein. Color 1262 Light Brown (B)
Lorna's Laces (affiliate link) Shepherd Sock Solid 215 yds/197 m pe 57 gr skein - 1 skein. Color Natural. (C)

You'll need small amounts of the last 3 yarns: for neckband, button bands and pocket trim.
Needles: 2 (2.75 mm) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE
Hook: C (2.75 mm)

Gauge: 20 st x 40 rows = 4" x 4" (10 x 10 cm)

Even number of sts
1: *k1, p1*, repeat from * to *

Repeat rows 1-2.

Back
Cast on 110 sts.
Rows 1-84: work seed stitch.
Row 85: to shape armholes cast off 10 sts at the beginning of the row.
Row 86: cast off 10 sts at the beginning of the row.
Row 87: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 88: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 89: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 90: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 91: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 92: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 93: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 94: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Rows 95-170: seed stitch
Row 171: to shape neckline cast off 16 sts in the middle of the row and finish the left and right sides of the back separately.

Left Shoulder
Row 173: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row, don't work the last 7 sts, turn.
Row 175: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row, don't work the last 7 sts, turn.
Row 177: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row, don't work the last 7 sts, turn.

Right Shoulder
Row 174: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row, don't work the last 7 sts, turn.

Row 59: work 16 short rows to shape bust dart as follows:
*Knit across row until 3 stitches remain on left hand needle. Bring yarn to front of needle as though you are going to purl, slip stitch. Bring yarn to back of work. Turn work.*
Work across row. Turn work.

Finishing:
Join shoulder seams. Join side seams.
Crochet 6 rows of single crochet along the bottom of the cardigan, centers of the front and along the neckline as follows: 2 rows with yarn C, 2 rows with yarn D and 2 rows with yarn D.
Make 9 buttonholes on the right front button band in the 4th row as follows: sc, ch 3, skip 3 sts, sc.

Sleeve bands:
Crochet 6 rows of single crochet along the bottom of the sleeves as follows: 2 rows with yarn C, 2 rows with yarn D and 2 rows with yarn D.

Faux pocket trim:
Chain 22.
Crochet 6 rows of single crochet as follows: 2 rows with yarn C, 2 rows with yarn D and 2 rows with yarn D. Tie off.

Sew on 9 buttons. Sew the crochet trims to the front of the cardigan (see pictures). Sew ona button to each trim.
