Cast on 110 sts. 
Rows 1-84: work seed stitch. 
Row 85: to shape armholes cast off 10 sts at the beginning of the row. 
Row 86: cast off 10 sts at the beginning of the row. 
Row 87: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row. 
Row 88: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.

Join shoulder seams. Join side seams.  
Crochet 6 rows of single crochet along the bottom of the cardigan, centers of the front and along the neckline as follows: 2 rows with yarn C, 2 rows with yarn D and 2 rows with yarn D. 
Make 9 buttonholes on the right front button band in the 4th row as follows: sc, ch 3, skip 3 sts, sc.
Sleeve bands: 
Crochet 6 rows of single crochet along the bottom of the sleeves as follows: 2 rows with yarn C, 2 rows with yarn D and 2 rows with yarn D.
Faux pocket trim: 
Chain 22. 
Crochet 6 rows of single crochet as follows: 2 rows with yarn C, 2 rows with yarn D and 2 rows with yarn D. Tie off.
Sew on 9 buttons. Sew the crochet trims to the front of the cardigan (see pictures). Sew ona button to each trim.
