Materials: 100% Wool Lion Brand� Fishermen's Wool yarn 465 yd (425 m) / 227g - 3 skeins. Color Natural
Needles: 9 (5.5 mm) and 8 (5.0 mm) and circular 8 (5.0 mm) 60 cm (24") OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE.

Gauge for seed stitch: 14 st x 24 rows = 4" x 4" (10 x 10 cm)

Back
Cast on 82 sts (including edge stitches) on 8 (5.0 mm) needles.
Knit rib for 12 rows.
Continue on 9 (5.5 mm) and knit seed stitch for 70 rows.
Row 71: cast off 6 sts at the beginning of the row.
Row 72: cast off 6 sts at the beginning of the row.
Row 73: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 74: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 75: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 76: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 77-140: seed stitch. Cast off.

Front
Cast on 102 sts (including edge stitches) on on 8 (5.0 mm) needles.
Knit rib for 12 rows.
Continue on 9 (5.5 mm) as follows: 1 edge st, 36 p seed stitch, 4 sts reverse stocking st, cable on 6 sts, 1 st reverse stocking st, cable on 6 sts, 1 st reverse stocking st, cable on 6 sts, 4 sts reverse stocking st, 36 p seed stitch, 1 edge st.
Knit like this for 70 rows.
Row 71: cast off 6 sts at the beginning of the row.
Row 72: cast off 6 sts at the beginning of the row.
Row 73: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 74: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 75: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 76: cast off 1 st at the beginning of the row.
Row 77-120: seed stitch with cables.
Row 121: to shape a neck line Cast off 10 sts in the middle of the front and continue knitting the left and right parts of the front separately.
Row 123: cast off 5 sts at the beginning of the row.
Row 125: cast off 3 sts at the beginning of the row.
Row 127-140: seed stitch with cables. cast off.

Sleeve
Cast on 34 sts (including edge stitches) on 8 (5.0 mm) needles.
Knit rib for 12 rows. In the last row add evenly 20 sts.
Continue on 9 (5.5 mm) needles on 54 sts as follows: 1 edge st, 22 p seed stitch, 1 st reverse stocking st, cable on 6 sts, 1 st reverse stocking st, 22 p seed stitch, 1 edge st.
Continue to knit for 102 rows adding 16 times 1 st on both sides in each 6th row (total 32 sts).
Cast off.

Finishing:
Join shoulder seams.
Pick up 86 sts along the neckline oncircular needles and knit rib for 40 rows for the turtleneck collar. cast off.
Set in sleeves.
Join side seams and sleeve seams.
