IntermediateFree Hat Knitting Pattern
The Colorful Cables Bucket Hat matches the Colorful Cables Scarf pattern. It uses two contrasting yarns and slipped stitches to form the cable design. One yarn can be self-striping while the other is a solid color. You change yarns every two rows, so the color shifts happen without intarsia or complex methods. The hat is worked in-the-round and seamless. The result creates a bold look with deep blues, blacks, grays, and pops of yellow and teal. This hat works well as a set with the scarf or on its own for cool weather.
