Short Overview of the Pattern:

The shawl is worked sideways in garter st with interchanging light and dark stripes. The main body of the shawl is worked as one piece with 3 sections.

The first section, the beginning of the shawl, is shaped with the increases (m1) at the beginning of the light color (LC) rows on the right side (RS).

In the second section the shawl is shaped with the short rows at the end of both RS LC and RS DC rows.

The third section of the shawl is shaped with the decreases (k2tog) at the beginning of the light color (LC) rows on the right side (RS)

The shawl is finished with 10 rows of DC garter st border on outer edge and 6 rows of garter st border on the adjusted inner edge.
