Immerse yourself in the vibrant palette of the forest during fall with the Autumn Forest Vest. Gauge: 12 sts x 24 rows = 4" x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm) in garter st.

Pattern Notes:

Garter st in rows: all rows knit

Chain Selvedge: the selvedge/edge stitches are worked as follows: slip the first stitch purlwise and knit the last one.


Short Overview of the Pattern:

The vest is worked in garter stitch using 2 contrast colored yarns, with geometric pattern created by slip stitches. The vest is knitted as one piece, starting from the back bottom up to shoulders, with the opening for the head and then down to the front bottom. The sides of the vest then joined, leaving openings for the arms.
