Materials: Berroco (affiliate link) Captiva aran weight yarn (60% Cotton, 23% Polyester, 17% Acrylic) 98 yds (90 m) / 50 gr, color 5507 – 6 skeins.

Hook: 4.5 mm

Gauge: 1 pattern repeat = 3” (7.5 cm)

sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
RS - right side
WS - wrong side
bobble cluster (on RS rows) (bbl-clR) – 4 dc in next stitch, drop loop from hook, insert hook from front to back in the first dc of the group, pull dropped loop through stitch.
bobble cluster (on WS rows) (bbl-clW) – 4 dc in next stitch, drop loop from hook, insert hook from back to front in the first dc of the group, pull dropped loop through stitch.


Short Overview of the pattern:

The body of the scarf is crocheted in Triangle Bobble Pattern from one short end to another. Then the crocheted bobble fringe is worked on both ends of the scarf.

Repeat rows 2-11 to desired length. Don’t cut the yarn. Turn.


Fringe

(Ch 20, bbl-clR in the 5th ch from the hook, ch 4, sl st to the same ch, ch 15, skip 1 st on the scarf edge, 1 sc in next st on the scarf edge) repeat to the end of the row.

Work 1 row of sc along the long side of the scarf, repeat the fringe row along the other short end of the scarf, work 1 row of sc along the other long side of the scarf. Tie off.


Finishing

Weave in all yarn ends. Block.
