Size: XS (S, M, L, XL)

Materials: Ella Rae (affiliate link) Baby Cotton DK weigh yarn (88% Cotton, 12% Nylon), 110 yards (101 meters) / 50gr - 4 (5, 6, 7, 8) balls
Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) circular and dpn OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE.

Gauge: 26 sts x 36 rows = 4" (10cm) in stockinette st or
1 pattern repeat = 1.3" (3.33 cm)

Patterns:

Stockinette St in rows:
Row 1 (RS) :knit
Row 2 (WS): purl

Pattern Vine Lace in rows:
Multiple of 9 sts plus 4

Row 1 and 3 (Wrong side) - purl
Row 2 - k3, *yo, k2, ssk, k2tog, k2, yo, k1; rep from *, end k1
Row 4 - k2, *yo, k2, ssk, k2tog, k2, yo, k1; rep from*. end k2

Directions

The shrug is worked in 3 parts and then sewn together.

Central Back Panel
CO 69 (78, 96, 105, 123) sts (67 [76, 94, 103, 121] for the lace pattern + 2 selvege sts).
Work the Vine Lace pattern for 100 (100, 112, 132, 142) rows.
Bind off.

Sleeve

The left and right sleeves are made the same way.

CO 87 (87, 96, 114, 123) sts (85 sts for the lace pattern + 2 selvage sts)
Work the lace pattern for 88 (96, 96, 104, 104) rows, then work stockinette for 29 (29, 37, 45, 53) rows. Bind off.

Finishing

Block the parts.
Sew the sleeves to the back. Fold the sleeves in half and sew them up to the stockinette parts.

I added the Icord around the neck and sleeve openings of the Shrug. That really finished it off and it looks great
