Chest: 34 [38, 42, 46, 50, 54] inches (86 [96, 106, 117, 127, 137] cm

Materials: Aslan Trends Class sport weight yarn 240 yards (219 meters) / 100 gr - 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6) balls

Needles: circular US 2 (2.75 mm) and US 4 (3.50 mm)

Gauge for the lace pattern: 18 st x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4" x 4")

Round 3: *K3tog, yo, k1, yo - repeat from * across the round

Ribbing 2x2
All rounds: *k2, p2 repeat from * across the round

Pattern Note

Make 1 increase - I used the increase described by Elizabeth Zimmerman

Directions:

The sweater is worked from the top to the bottom in rounds without seams.

Size S
Cast on 112 sts on #2 needles. Join and continue to work in rounds. Place a marker at the beginning of the round. Work 10 rounds of 2x2 ribbing.
Round 11: *k2, m1, p2 repeat from * across the round + 28 sts = 140 sts
Rounds 12, 13, 14, 15: *k2, p3 repeat from * across the round

Divide for sleeves
Divide the work into 4 parts and place markers:
Back 68 (76, 84, 92, 100, 108) sts, left sleeve 43 (48, 53, 58, 63, 68) sts, front 70 (80, 90, 100, 110, 120) sts, right sleeve 43 (48, 53, 58, 63, 68) sts. Work the back stitches [68 (76, 84, 92, 100, 108)] in rows, to and fro for 8 rows: odd rows (RS) work the lace pattern as established, even rows (WS) purl.
 
Round 1: Work lace pattern as follows: work back sts [68 (76, 84, 92, 100, 108)], transfer the left sleeve sts [43 (48, 53, 58, 63, 68)] to a piece of yarn, cast on 6 sts with single cast on for an underarm, work front sts [70 (80, 90, 100, 110, 120)], transfer the right sleeve sts [43 (48, 53, 58, 63, 68)] to a piece of yarn, cast on 6 sts with single cast on for an underarm.
Rounds 2-8: work the lace pattern as established, the underarm stitches knit in all rounds.
Round 9: work the lace pattern as established. Work the underarm stitches: k2, k2tog, k2 = 5 sts at each underarm
Round 10: work the lace pattern as established. The 5 underarm stitches: knit
Round 11: work the lace pattern as established. Work the underarm stitches: k1, k2tog, k2 = 4 sts at each underarm
Round 12: work the lace pattern as established. The 4 underarm stitches: knit
Round 13: work the lace pattern as established. Work the underarm stitches: k1, k2tog, k1 = 3 sts at each underarm
Round 14: work the lace pattern as established. The 3 underarm stitches: knit
Round 15: work the lace pattern as established. Work the underarm stitches: k1, k2tog = 2 sts in each underarm
Round 16: work the lace pattern as established. The 2 underarm stitches: knit
Round 17: work the lace pattern as established. The 2 underarm stitches: k2tog = 1 st
From round 18, work the lace pattern as established. The 1 underarm stitch: knit
Work 60 rounds more or to a desired length.
Rounds 79-81: knit
Round 82: *k2tog, yo repeat from * across the round
Rounds 83-85: knit.
Cast off.

Sleeve:
Transfer the sleeve sts to the circular needles. Pick up 14 sts: 8 sts on the back portion worked in rows and 6 sts at the underarm
Rounds 1-8: work the lace pattern as established, work the 8 sts on the back in lace pattern, knit the 6 sts in the underarm.
Rounds 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17: decrease 1 st of the underarm sts by k2tog.
Work total 34 rounds or to desired length.
Rounds 35-37: knit
Round 38:  *k2tog, yo repeat from * across the round
Rounds 39-41 knit
Cast off.
