Size:  S (M, L, XL)

Materials: Elann (affiliate link) Lustrado 100% cotton fingering weight yarn, 185 yd (169 m) / 50 gr - 4 (4, 5, 6) balls

Hook: D (3.25 mm) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE

Gauge: *2 dc, ch 12* (1 pattern repeat) - 2" (5 cm)

Directions:
The cardigan is worked from top to bottom, back and forth without seams.

Round Yoke
Chain 189 (189, 217, 252).

Size S
Row 1: dc in the 4th ch from hook (counts as dc), 1dc, *ch5, skip 5 ch, 2dc*, repeat to the end of the row 26 times, 1dc.
Row 2: ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc, *ch5, 2dc*, repeat to the end of the row 26 times, 1dc.
Rows 3-4: ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc, *ch6, 2dc*, repeat to the end of the row 26 times, 1dc.
Rows 5-6: ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc, *ch7, 2dc*, repeat to the end of the row 26 times, 1dc.
Rows 7-8: ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc, *ch8, 2dc*, repeat to the end of the row 26 times, 1dc.
Rows 9-10: ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc, *ch9, 2dc*, repeat to the end of the row 26 times, 1dc.

Row 2: ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc, *ch5, 2dc*, repeat to the end of the row 35 times, 1dc.
Rows 3-4: ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc, *ch6, 2dc*, repeat to the end of the row 35 times, 1dc.
Rows 5-6: ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc, *ch7, 2dc*, repeat to the end of the row 35 times, 1dc.
Rows 7-8: ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc, *ch8, 2dc*, repeat to the end of the row 35 times, 1dc.
Rows 9-10: ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc, *ch9, 2dc*, repeat to the end of the row 35 times, 1dc.
Rows 11-12: ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc, *ch10, 2dc*, repeat to the end of the row 35 times, 1dc.

Divide for sleeves
Each front - 4 (4, 5, 6) pattern repeats (2dc, ch12), for size S pattern repeat (2dc, ch11)
Each sleeve - 5 (5, 5, 6) pattern repeats (2dc, ch12), for size S pattern repeat (2dc, ch11)
Back - 8 (8, 10, 11) pattern repeats (2dc, ch12), for size S pattern repeat (2dc, ch11)

Crochet 6 rows of the back (between 2 sleeves). Tie off.

Bodice
Starting from the left front work 4 (4, 5, 6) pattern repeats of the left front, ch12 between front and back for the armhole, 8 (8, 10, 11) pattern repeats of the back, ch12 between back and the right front, 4 (4, 5, 6) pattern repeats of the right front. Continue to work bodice of 18 (18, 22, 25) pattern repeats for 39 rows or until the desired length.

Tie off.

Sleeve
Sleeve worked in rounds, without a seem.
Crochet 5 (5, 5, 6) pattern repeats, plus 1 pattern repeat over the side of the back plus 1 pattern repeat over the ch12 between back and front. Total 7 (7, 7, 8) pattern repeats. Work sleeve for 15 rows or until desired lengh. Tie off.



Finishing
Crochet 10 rows of sc along the fronts and the neckline. Increase for 2 sc in the corner of the button band and the neckband in every row. In row 5 make 6 button holes by working *ch2, skip 2st*.

When doing the sleeves do I just leave the stitches for the sleeves and continue with the body and then go back to the sleeves.
