Hi Laurie, I have not worked with fun fur. The Bernat Pipsqueak (available at Michael's and I think also AC Moore) is pretty easy to knit with but hard to undo because you cannot see the stitches you have knit. You cannot tell the difference between stockinette and garter stitch!
