Cowl

The cowl is knitted from the top down in the rounds without seams.

Cast on 72 st, join and continue to work in rounds. Place marker to mark the beginning of the round.
Work 1x1 Rib (k 1, p 1) for 42 rounds.
From round 43 work stockinette st as follows:

Round 45 and all odd rounds: increase for 2 sts at each marker (m 1, pm, k 1, m 1), 8 sts per round = 88 sts
Rounds 47-84: repeat rounds 43-44.
Rounds: 85-88: garter st
