Directions

The cardigan is worked from top to bottom, back and forth without seams.

Cast on 42 (42, 46, 54, 58) sts and purl one row (wrong side). Divide sts as follows and place
markers on raglan lines: 1st (selvedge) + 4 (4, 5, 6, 7) st (front) + 1 st (raglan, place a marker) + 8 (8, 8, 10, 10) sts (sleeve) + 1 st (raglan, place a marker) + 12 (12, 14, 16, 18) sts (back) + 1 st (raglan, place a marker) + 8 (8, 8, 10, 10) sts (sleeve) + 1 st (raglan, place a marker) + 4 (4, 5, 6, 7) st (front) +1 st (selvedge).
Work stockinette - all even rows purl (wrong side), all odd rows knit (right side) - for 36 (40, 44,
48, 52) rows increasing by 8 sts (double increase at the raglan sts) in each odd row as follows:
M1, k1 (raglan st), M1 at the raglan st. Work cable at the center of each sleeve as follows: k 1, p
1, k 4 (cable on 4 sts), p 1, k 1 = 8 st.

Divide for sleeves

Row 37 (41, 45, 49, 53): work the left front sts, transfer the left sleeve sts to a length of yarn,
cast on 5 sts with single cast on for the underarm, work back sts, transfer right sleeve sts to a
length of yarn, cast on 5 sts with single cast on and work right front stitches.

Continue to work bodice in stockinette back and forth for 38 (42, 48, 54, 60) more rows or until
desired length.

Work 8 rows of garter stitch. Work the first row of garter as follows: *k 4, k2tog (knit 2 together), repeat to the end of the row.
Cast off.

Transfer sleeve sts from the yarn to the needles and pick up 5 sts over the 5 underarm sts.
