Materials: Lion Brand Amazing aran weight yarn, 147 yards (134 meters) / 50 gr color Cactus Flower - 4 balls
Needles: US 9 (5.5 mm)

Gauge is not important

Abbreviations:

K – knit

P– purl

rep - repeat

w&t - wrap and turn

as est. - as established, work as the pattern demands,

co – cast on

Pattern Notes:

Edge stitches: slip the first st and purl the last one.

Directions:
Cast on 34 sts (32 for pattern and 2 edge sts)

Row 1 (RS): sl1, k32, p1

Row 2 (WS): sl1, p33

Row 3 (RS with short rows): sl1, k1, * (k5, w&t, p5 back, w&t) x 3 times, k 5, slip the next st to the right needle, with the tip of the left needle pick up all wraps and place them to the right needle, return all 4 sts (1 st + 3 wraps) to the left needle and knit them together, k4 - repeat from * 3 times, k1, p1.

Row 4 (WS): sl1, p 2, *p9, slip the next st to the right needle, with the tip of the left needle pick up all wraps and place them to the right needle, return all 4 sts (1 st + 3 wraps) to the left needle and purl them together, repeat from * 3 times, p1.

Rows 5 and 6: - repeat rows 1 and 2

Row 7 (RS with short rows): sl1, k 6, * (k5, w&t, p5 back, w&t) x 3 times, k 5, slip the next st to the right needle, with the tip of the left needle pick up all wraps and place them to the right needle, return all 4 sts (1 st + 3 wraps) to the left needle and knit them together; k4; repeat from * 2 times, (k5, w&t, p5 back, w&t) , slip the next st to the right needle, with the tip of the left needle pick up all wraps and place them to the right needle, return all 4 sts (1 st + 3 wraps) to the left needle and knit them together, p1.

Row 8: sl1, p 6, p1 with all wraps (as described in row 4), *p 9, p1 with all wraps – repeat from * 2 times, p6.

Repeat rows 1-8 to desired length.

Repeat rows 1-2 in the end.

Bind off.

Finishing
Weave in all yarn ends. Sew the long sides together. Make 2 pom-poms with diameter 4"-5" and sew to both ends.
