Directions

Hat is worked as one piece from the top to the brim without seams.

With GY yarn, ch 4, join with a slip stitch in first chain to close the circle.
Round 1: ch 2 (counts as hdc) 11 hdc in the circle, join with a slip stitch to top of the ch2. = 12 hdc
Round 2: ch 2 (counts as hdc), hdc in the same st, *2 hdc in the next st., repeat from * across the round, join with a slip stitch to top of the ch 2.= 24 hdc
Round 3: ch 2, *2 hdc in the next st, hdc in the next 2 sts, repeat from * across the round, join with a slip stitch to top of the ch 2. = 32 hdc
Round 4: ch 2, *2 hdc in the next st, hdc in the next 3 sts, repeat from * across the round, join with a slip stitch to top of the ch 2. = 40 hdc
Round 5: ch 2, *2 hdc in the next st, hdc in the next 4 sts, repeat from * across the round, join with a slip stitch to top of the ch 2. = 48 hdc
