Free Cowl Knitting Pattern

Introducing the Woodland Cowl: An easy-to-follow pattern for knitting in the round, ideal for beginners. Stay snug and stylish with this cozy accessory.

Finished size: 10" (25 cm) wide (when folded in half, flat), and 10" (25 cm) high.

Materials:
Lion Brand (affiliate link) Wool-Ease Chunky bulky weight yarn, color 115 Bay Harbor - 153 yards (140 meters) /140 gr (5 oz) - 1 ball.

Needles: circular US 9 (5.5 mm) (24" (60 cm)

Gauge: 12 sts x 20 rows = 4" x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm)

Directions:
Cast on 65 sts, join and continue to work in rounds. Place the marker on the 1st stitch in the round.
Round 1: *p3, [k1, p1] 5 times*, repeat from * to *across the round
Round 2: *p3, [p1, k1] 5 times*, repeat from * to *across the round
Repeat rounds 1-2.
Work 48 rounds or to desired height. Bind off.
