Red Heart Super Saver 100% acrylic yarn worsted weight, color Natural, 333 m (364 yds)/198 g - 1 skein. (A)
Red Heart Super Saver 100% acrylic yarn worsted weight, color Brown, 333 m (364 yds)/198 g - 1 skein. (B)

Needles: circular and dpn #10 (6.0 mm) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE.

Gauge: 14 st x 28 rows = 4" x 4" (10 x 10 cm)

Pattern:

Garter Stitch in rounds
Round 1: knit
Round 2: purl
Repeat rounds 1-2

Directions:


Blanket consists of 4 blocks, which are connected in the process of knitting so there are no seams. Each block is knitted inwards on circular and double-pointed needles, the same way socks and other seamless garments are made.



Block 1
With yarn A cast on 232 st, join and continue to work in rounds.
Work 1 purl round, up to the last st.
Round 2: Work k3tog the last st of the 1st roundround and 1st and 2nd sts, place marker, k55, k3tog, place marker, k55, k3tog, place marker, k55, k3tog, place marker, k55.
Round 3 and all odd rounds: purl
Round 4 and all even rounds: knit, working k3tog at the markers, decreasing each round for 8 sts.
Round 5: purl
Repeat rounds 4-5: until 8 sts remain. Cut yarn, leaving a 10" (25 cm) tail. Pull through all the remaining sts and secure.
Work rounds 1-29 in yarn A and all other rounds with yarn B.

Block 2
With yarn B cast on 173 sts and pick up 59 sts along one side of block 1, join and continue to work in rounds.

Work as block 1, starting with yarn B and finishing with yarn A.

Block 3:, work as block 2, but start with yarn A and end with yarn B.

Block 4: with yarn B cast on 115 st, pick up 59 sts along one side of block 3, pick up 58 sts along the side of block 1, join and continue to work in rounds, starting with yarn B and finishing with yarn A.

You can make a bigger throw by adding more blocks, attaching them to one another in the same way as described above.
