Materials:King Cole (affiliate link) Luxury Mohair aran weight yarn 110 yrd (101 m)/ 50g - 4 skeins.

Needles: 9 (5.50 mm) OR SIZR NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE

Gauge: 8 sts = 4" (10 cm)

Pattern Notes:

Zigzag Lace Trellis
Even number of stitches
Row 1 (wrong side) and all other odd rows - purl
Rows 2, 4 and 6: k1, *yo, k2tog*, repeat from * to *, k1.
Rows 8, 10 and 12: k1, *ssk, yo*, repeat from * to *, k1.
Repeat rows 1-12

Edge stitches: slip the first st in a row and purl the last one.

Directions:
Cast on 50 sts.

Row 1 (RS): sl 1, k48, p1. (50 sts)

Row 2 and all WS rows: sl1, p49.

Row 3: sl1, k1, (yo, k2tog) x 23 times, k1, p1.

Row 5: Repeat row 3.

Row 7: Repeat row 3.

Row 9: sl1, k1, (ssk, yo) x 23 times, k1, p1.

Row 11: Repeat row 9.

Row 13: Repeat row 9.

Repeat rows 3-14 to desired length.

The last row: sl 1, k48, p1. (50 sts). Bind off.

Finishing:
Wevw in all yarn ends. Block the shawl.
