Baby Blanket with Ruffle

Free Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern

Size: 32 x 32" (82 x 82 cm)

Materials:Bernat (affiliate link) Baby Sport 100% Acrylic yarn, color - light lilac, 300 g / 875 m (957 yds) - 2 skeins.
Bernat (affiliate link) Softee Baby 100% Arcrylic yarn, color - white, 140 g / 361 m (395 yds) - 1 skein.
Hook: G (4.25 mm)

Gauge:
18 dc = 4" (10 cm)

Pattern:
Row 1: ch 2 (counts as 1 dc), dc to the end of the row.
Row 2: ch 2 (counts as 1 dc), *1 dc, ch 1, skip 1 st,* repeat from * to the end of the row, end with 1 dc.
Repeat rows 1- 2.

Directions:

Crochet chain 135.
Work pattern for 85 rows. Tie off.

Ruffle:
Crochet 7 rounds of (ch 6, 1 sc) according to the drawing.
Rows 1-5: light lilac.

Rows 6-7: white

Round 1: ch 6, 1 sc in the next st, *ch 6, 1 sc in every st, repeat from * across.

Round 2: ch 6, 1 sc in the next ch 6, *ch 6, 1 sc in the same ch 6, ch 6, sc in the next ch 6, repet from * across.

Rounds 3-9: ch 6, 1 sc in the next ch 6, *ch 6, 1 sc in the next ch 6, repeat from * across. IN the corners of the blanket work (ch 6, 1 sc in the same ch 6) twice. Tie off

Ribbon:
With white yarn crochet 3 dc ribbon for 128" (320 cm).
Thread the ribbon along the ruffle.
