How to Hold a Crochet Hook

There are many different ways to hold a crochet hook and there's no one "right way". However, the method explained in this video works well. You hold the hook by the flat area using your thumb and middle finger. The index finger is used to support the top of the hook. Meanwhile, the remaining two fingers wrap lightly around the end of the hook.

your video is good to learn to hold the crochet hook for a right hander, however, I am a left hander and can not crochet right handed.
