I have "been in love" with this cowl for a year. Finally, I am starting this. May I ask, how many beads should I plan on stringing on the yarn when (if) I get to the "chaining" ruffle?
Thank you for your time and help! :)

Grafting is sewing the edges together.

Love the look. For the Seed Stitch pattern: Since there are an uneven number of stitches (groups of 5) shouldn't you always use [k1, p1, k1, p1, k1] so that you are always knitting a purl stitch?

Looks like a really great cowl. What does "graft the edges" mean?
