Materials: Black Red Heart Sport acrylic yarn - 1 skein.
Some yellow Red Heart Sport acrylic yarn.
Crochet hook 1 (2.75 mm) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE
Gauge: 15 dc x 10 rows = 4" x 4" (10 x 10 cm)
Vest is crocheted sideways.
Back
Black yarn. Chain 15.
Rows 1-2:ch 3, 12 dc.
Row 3:ch 3, 12 dc, chain 12.
Rows 4-6: ch 3, 21 dc.
Row 7-10: ch 3, 19 dc.
Row 11: ch 3, 19 dc, chain 5.
Rows 12-14: ch 3, 21 dc.
Rows 15-17:ch 3, 12 dc. Tie off.
Right Front
Black yarn. Chain 15.
Rows 1-2:1 dc in the 4th ch, 12 dc.
Row 3:ch 3, 12 dc, chain 16.
Rows 4-5: ch 3, 25 dc.
Yellow yarn. Row 6: ch 3, 25 dc.
Row 7: ch 1, 8 sc, 17 dc.
Row 8: ch 3, 16 dc, 1 sc. Tie off.
Left Front
Crochet as right front.
Finishing:
Join side and shoulder seams.
Yellow yarn. Crochet *1 sc, skip 1 dc, 3 dc in the next dc, skip 1 dc* repeat from * til * on the bottom and center of the front.
Yellow yarn. Crochet sc around the armholes.
